Ghoshi is located 69 metres above the sea level located at the coordinates 25°10'19'N 85°05'57'E. Ghoshi lies on the border of Jehanabad district and Arwal district. It is surrounded by Kako block in the West, Modanganj block to the North, Hulasganj block towards South, Ekangarsarai in the East. Amthua, Ahiasa, Bharthu, Suleman Pur, Chiri, Islampur, Jehanabad, Masauhri, Makhdumpur are the nearby cities to Ghoshi.
The main occupation of the people is agriculture and related activities. Railway facilities have not been extended to Ghoshi and people have to travel to the Jehanabad Railway station which is the nearest to travel by train. With few hospitals and chemist shops Ghoshi can handle any emergency situation.
